The objectives of the Association are:

1. to promote and further the interests of the Class throughout the Ireland
2. to represent the interests of sailors of the Class
3. to keep members informed of developments concerning the class and any proposals concerning Class rules.
4. to organise National Open Championships and to co-ordinate the programme for other races for the Class in the Island of Ireland.
5. to encourage National and International competition in Ireland for the Class.
6. to negotiate with other and the International Association on any matters relating to the Class Measurement Rules.
7. to circulate information on technical development within the Class.
8. to keep a National Association Register of Members
