MEMBERSHIP AND VOTING RIGHTS

The following classes of membership shall be recognised:

    1. Individual  Membership
    2. Family Membership
    3. Honorary Membership


Individual Membership shall be available to any person on payment of the prescribed annual subscription 

Family Membership shall be available to any family on payment of the prescribed annual subscription. Family membership is limited to a group of persons who declare themselves to be a family, Each Family membership may nominate up to two members of the family to be voting members at the time of joining or annual renewal of membership but both must be over 16 years old on the first of January of the ***** year.

Honorary Membership shall be open to any person having an interest in the National Association who is proposed by a Voting Member and seconded by at least one Member of the Committee and is elected by Members of the National Association.

Members shall be bound by the National Association rules.

Each Individual member over the age of sixteen shall be entitled to one vote at a General Meeting of the National Association, or in  postal or web ballots.  Family Membership entitles the two declared voting members of the family to one vote each at a General Meeting of the National Association, or in  postal or web ballots. All Members who are not entitled to vote shall be entitled to attend and speak at any General Meeting.

The Hon. Secretary shall upon receipt of his first subscription notify any elected candidate that he has been admitted a member of the Association and shall send him a copy of the Class Rules and Regulations currently in force and the member shall be bound thereby.

The Committee shall have power to suspend from membership any member who shall behave in a manner prejudicial to the Association. The Committee shall in each such case give adequate effective notice to the member giving the member every reasonable opportunity of explaining his conduct.

The Committee shall have power on receiving satisfactory explanations to reinstate as a member of the Association any person who may have been suspended from membership under any provision of these rules.
